TRACCS Bahrain was officially launched in 2008 to offer comprehensive strategic communications services as well as media training, crisis and issues management, media relations and editorial consultancy to leading clients in the island kingdom. The TRACCS Bahrain team is based in Manama and is dedicated to bringing a greater understanding of public relations to the local market, successfully serving clients in the FMCG, telecommunications, financial, automotive, tourism, hospitality and real estate sectors.
Shereen Bushehri brings over a decade of experience in communications across many sectors, including telecommunications, financial and motor sports and has been instrumental in launching several brands both in Bahrain and abroad. A Bahraini national, she began her career as a reporter for Al Ayam Publishing and was quickly promoted to local news editor the English language Bahrain Tribune, simultaneously serving as Bahrain Bureau Chief for the Deutshe Presse Agentur (DPA) covering major hard news stories like the Iraq War and Bahrain’s first parliamentary elections.
After five years in journalism she joined Bahrain International Circuit, the Middle East’s first Formula One venue and organizer as press officer, leading media operations for the Bahrain Grand Prix from 2005 to 2006. In her role at the Bahrain International circuit Shereen launched numerous initiatives to raise awareness of the F1, including the region’s first motorsports media club.
In 2007 Shereen joined Qatar Telecom to manage its international wimax business, developing and launching wi-tribe, which became an award-winning brand extending to Jordan, Pakistan and the Philippines.
Prior to joining TRACCS Shereen headed public relations for the Saudi Telecom global brand VIVA.
A dedicated public relations practitioner, Shereen is focused on building the TRACCS brand in the Kingdom of Bahrain and developing the public relations profession in her home country and across the GCC.
