The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the implementation of a TRACCS office’s finance strategy and operations within a single office.
The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities include:
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payables and receivables
- Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
- Analyzing finance information and summarizing finance status
- Spotting errors and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Managing accounting assistants and bookkeepers
- Participating in finance standards setting and forecasting
- Preparing finance statements and producing budget according to schedule
- Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Planning, assigning, and reviewing staff’s work
- Supporting with month-end and year-end closing
Experience and Skills Required
The Senior Accountant should have:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting
- At least 3 years of experience as an accountant with reputable companies
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles and accounting software applications
- Knowledge of the local finance regulatory landscape
