Associate Director of Content - English

The Associate Director of Content - English is responsible for ensuring that all content developed by TRACCS – including both PR and Digital – adheres to the company’s quality criteria at all times. He/She should be able to lead, direct and mentor a team of English content specialists to continuously elevate performance and maximize efficiency within his/her TRACCS office. He/She is responsible for creating content strategies and messaging for clients and set the tone for all content development to ensure it is on-brief, impactful, well-written and in line with clients’ messaging. He/She should have a creative bent of mind and must understand the editorial requirements of all local and key regional clients including general, technical and industry-specific vocabulary and terminology, style and tone of voice and oversee the development of content calendars. At the same time, he/she must also liaise with other teams to ensure alignment of all English content with Arabic or French content as and when necessary.

 

The Associate Director of Content - English should have:

  • At least 9 years of English content development experience including a minimum of 2 years of communications content development experience
  • Strong literary, research and ideation skills
  • The ability to manage a team of content writers and provide them with the right training and guidance to improve their skills
  • Exceptional proof-reading skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to write/edit for a wide range of clients: financial, hospitality, industrial, consumer, technology, fashion, etc.
